Happy Tails Labradors

About Us

How We Got Started...

Dogs have been a major part of our lives long before the establishment of Happy Tails, so when we first had the opportunity to adopt a black Lab pup, we couldn't resist. After owning Hope for just 2 years, we knew that we wanted to breed. Hope was more of a family dog, and had skin allergies, which we did not want to pass down to her puppies, so we did not breed her. She was spayed about 3 months after her diagnosis, and about a year later we got our first dam, Chloe.

The Color We Breed...

We are known for our "snow white" Labradors, which are just Labs with a very light yellow coat, almost to the point of looking snow white in appearance. Although there is really no such thing as a "white" Lab, we try to produce Labs with the lightest color coats as possible. There is always a light shade of yellow on the ears and tip of the tail for all of our dogs so they are able to compete in the show ring. Why We Breed...

We do not breed pale-colored Labs for any other reason but because we simply prefer the lighter color. We breed Labs because we love the breed, but would rather be known as hobbyists vs. breeders.

Our Promise...

We promise to provide buyers with the perfect family raised, top quality companion, and our mission is to continue producing healthy, blocky-headed, all around perfect Labradors that excel in both the field, show ring, and watching Spongebob with the kids. :)
